I Might Be a Liar.
A nonfiction piece discussing the question "what do you wonder about?" As I explore my mistaken lies in my belief I was performing sarcasm, I fall on thoughts of why I write, and what it means to be a writer.
Research and Expository Writing.
The Ethics of the Pursuit of Beauty.
This essay discusses the commonalities between the eugenics movement and many modern uses of plastic surgery, as well as its popularization through social media and the "instagram face" as a form of manipulative governmentality.
Screenwriting.
Sleep to Dream.
A screenplay for my final film of my college career. It utilizes the metaphor of sleeping and dreaming to represent the compulsions of drug addiction and the harmful effects to mental and physical heath of users.

Consumerism vs. Alienation
This essay analyzes various Jean-Luc Godard films and the how his filmmaking progresses past the French New Wave Movement, as well as comments on the effectiveness of "art films" and their success in eliciting an emotional response from viewers.
Personal Essays.
I Think You Want to Be Sad.
This is a personal reflection on my writing habits and how my moments of high productivity tend to correlate with traumatic or difficult situations I'm going through. It discusses the comfort in what is known.
